We have many vacation properties available for rental on Kerr
Lake (also known as Buggs Island Lake). All of our rentals are near the lakeside town of Clarksville Virginia. All have docks,
and all are fully furnished...you bring only bed linens and paper goods (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.). Most
are available for weekly and weekend rental,except holiday weekends, a few are only available by the week. Prices are varied
to fit your budget and taste, from snug cabins or trailers to roomy deluxe homes. Some allow you to bring your pet.
Come and enjoy yourself in the country, on the lake. Go fishing on a nationally recognized tournament lake, visit
local sites like Prestwould Plantation, Springfield Museum, or Occoneechee State Park, have a bite in town or shop in the
excellent antique shops on Virginia Avenue. Or you can just relax on the porch and watch the fish jumping. It's a different
world. . .

Visit Clarksville's Annual Virginia Lake
Festival. This free event has been named "One of the Top 20 Events" by the Southeast Tourism Society for many years.
Children will enjoy tethered hot air balloon rides as the event kicks off Thursday night. Sand sculptors begin their artistry
on Friday morning and a live band and a sampling of food vendors round out the day. Saturday morning starts at dawn as balloonists
skim the lake and 200+ vendors line the street, including a juried arts & crafts show and a wide choice of delicious foods.
Music fills the air. Helicopter rides, antique cars and nearly 100,000 people make for a non-stop eventful day. At night fall,
boats gather on Buggs Island Lake/John H. Kerr Reservoir and people along the shoreline to see the extravaganza fireworks
show. A "must attend" festival held during the 3rd weekend of every July for over 30 years.
